I would like an image tool that is capable of accessing images from other web sites without resorting to a code object. During site design, it would access the web image and show it in the work area. When published, the web image would not be published unless it were re-rendered; rather only an img tag with the src link to the web image is published.

Yes, I know that this could cause broken links if not properly used. But I envision using this with images from my own site, thus reducing the need for keeping a duplicate on my local machine.
