Concerning SS v2.70b, Derry said:
"Iframe removes "scrolling=..." if 'scrolling' added as parameter - capitalization must match - can use capitals to override this behavior" Do you mean Derry, I can add in Parameters for example ---> Name=SCROLLING - Value=AUTO ? Should the Name and Value be written in capital ? Thanks ! |

For a little background, see Barry's original request. I've just done some testing and this is what I think:
If you use 'scrolling', 'auto' as a parameter, that will override anything set by the 'Use Scroll Bar'. So you will end with scrolling="auto" as the only scrolling parameter. This will be useful. If you use 'SCROLLING', 'auto', that will add a SCROLLING="auto" parameter ahead of the scrolling="yes" or scrolling="no" parameter. I don't know why you'd ever use this -- it seems to me the auto-scroll will always be overridden by the later scrolling parameter. Just a note: Normally the case of parameters doesn't matter -- as with other HTML, upper, lower or mixed case are all the same. |

OK so I know that Bruceee's avatar shows our great William S. thinking "VM or not VM, that is the question !"
and now I know that Derry's avatar shows....Derry himself reading the DA VINCI Code
So for the silly guys like me, I will say concerning the scrolling in Iframes : 1 - if you don't check the box "Use Scroll Bar" you won't have any scrolling bar displaying 2 - if you check the box "Use Scroll Bar" you will have vertical AND horizontal bars displaying EVEN IF NOT NEEDED. NB : The vertical bar will allways be there but the horizontal bar will remain as a 'shadow', still taking space 3 - if you don't check the box "Use Scroll Bar" BUT put in Parameters 'scrolling' in Name and 'auto' in Value, you will have vertical AND/OR horizontal bars displaying ONLY IF NEEDED. In HTML code: 1 corresponds to scrolling="no", 2 corresponds to "scrolling="yes", 3 corresponds to scrolling="auto" Do you agree with that Teacher William Bruceee and Grand Master Leonardo Dan Derry ? |

I agree with your general outline but I have doubts about two points:
I think this depends on the browser you are using. You may well be right about the 1 and 2, but I wouldn't be confident that 3="auto" in all browsers. I would always play safe and write out the parameter in full. |

You're right Bruceee ! The horizontal bar ONLY appears (as a shadow) in Firefox and Opera. Not in IE ! |
